Created attachment 11048 [details] Keepalived 1.0.2 In version 1.0.2 the samples changes locations within the source code. I corrected the location in this ebuild and added two new sample files.

Created attachment 12702 [details] keepalived-1.0.3-r1.ebuild Simplified the ebuild by using einstall and also updated the pkg_postinst comments.
I tested keepalived-1.0.3-r1.ebuild and it builds and runs beatifully. I'm running my new loadbalancers with it. Could we get this into Portage? Also, I added an rc-script to bug #22641 which would be nice too. Thanks!
I've got to make sure that this is all good then I will commit it to portage.
added to portage with ~x86 keyword, also added a correct init script
FYI - I have been running the keepalived-1.0.3-r1.ebuild since 6/12/03 on a Gentoo server without any issue. This could actually be marked as stable. Brett
I forgot to mention the -r1 ebuild above is what I commited as keepalived-1.0.3.ebuild. I didn't mark it as stable yet, I wanted to give it a week or two. Not for any really good reason, I don't think there are a large number of people using keepalived on Gentoo, or there would have been more hand waving about the init script. If you don't see it marked stable in the next week, give me a good kick in the pants.
Thanks a bunch Brian! I've been using the keepalived-1.0.3-r1.ebuild from above for over a week on two production boxes. All is good, I'd vote +1 for stability on x86.
