After i updated my portage files I unmerged the older version openoffice (2.2 if im not mistaken) in order to install a newew version: 2.3. At first the ebuild failed because of java files, a situation which was resolved by updating those files. Now i tried emerging once more but it still fails when trying to make /unxlngi6.pro/lib/libvclplug_kde680li.so . In case you have the fubared Samsung printer drivers installed, get rid of it (see Bug 144185). P.S. Remove -m32 from your C[XX]FLAGS (a horrible idea to add stuff like that) and also remove -s from your LDFLAGS (portage takes care of stripping as required).
