when I type gentoo after pressing f1 for selecting kernal it provides an error of this sort,     
could not load isolinux   disk error10,ax=4200,drive ef

Which release media is this about? What is your HW? Did you check the md5sum of the image before burning it? Did is burn correctly? It the drive itself working correctly?
