I tried to emerge compiz-fusion, but it fails on emerging compiz with these flags : USE="dbus kde -debug -gnome -svg" I'll attach build log, showing the errors. My version of Mesa is the latest in ~x86. I precompiled it, precompiled glproto and everything I found on google that could be related to the build failure, but it's still there. Just to let you know the bug still exists in x11-wm/compiz-0.6.2-r1 and media-libs/mesa-7.0.2
(In reply to comment #2) Hello, maybe you give it a try with the compiz-fusion overlay (based on version 0.7.4) in Bug 216621. There is a mesa-dependency included.
Well, it didn't worked, as there were some problems with the ebuild, but I found the problem - I had a stray directory GL in /usr/local/include, which had an old version of glx.h. This directory somehow was preferred over the one in /usr/include. I deleted the directory and now the problem is gone :)
