Description Devashish Bharadwaj 2007-10-27 10:14:22 UTC
I recently installed gentoo from livecd-amd64 as i have
pentium d(64bit supported)
intel 865GV motherboard
2 hard drives (windows on the SATA and Gentoo Linux for the IDE)

It all goes well untill hard ware detection it identifies my processor correctly: 2 cpu's etc
AND then It all goes haywire
and gives this message
Kernel panic - not syncing:Aiee Killing interupt handler
and the screen jamms,
i've to manually reboot

HELP!

p.s- i tried to report it on gentoo forms but it won't register me

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
just a normal livecd install

> Please Help!!

To debug something, we unfortunately need some real info beyond 'it crashed, please help!!' - such as the kernel output you get when booting.
