Hello.  Line 31 in /etc/bootsplash/gentoo/config/bootsplash-1280x1024.cfg should
read:
jpeg=/etc/bootsplash/gentoo/images/gentoo-boot-1280x1024.jpg
instead of:
jpeg=/etc/bootsplash/gentoo/images/bootsplash-1280x1024.jpg
This error means that the image is not applied to the framebuffer using splash
command and /etc/init.d/bootsplash start which is troublesome.  Many thanks.
