I get random crashes in Return to Castle Wolfenstein - this is not the main
problem though.

When RTCW crashes X restarts and I find the kernel using 100% CPU. That is not
all, init no longer works. So if I try to reboot or shutdown it doesn't and I am
forced to do a hard reset.

ps -aux returns many zombie tasks, mainly to do with KDE (I'm using 3.1).

I've since switched to gaming-sources, but do have the ck6 kernel still if you
would like more details.

sorry, but we do not maintain ck6 sources. I do not have these symptoms using ck6.

Fair enough, I didn't really expect that you would, I really posted this in case anyone
else had problems.

Init hanging is pretty serious in my book, and as this is the only kernel I've
experienced it with, I'll be avoiding pure ck in future.
