Description Ed Davison 2007-10-26 02:48:39 UTC
Today (2007-10-25) I did an emerge --sync and emerge portage. I then tried to do an emerge system and got errors with the first package, com_err-1.40.2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync
2. emerge -av system

You unmerged sys-kernel/linux-headers?! Well, don't do this.
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-26 18:34:22 UTC
Uninstalling parts of core system - NOTABUG.
Comment 5 Ed Davison 2007-10-26 18:58:02 UTC
yes, well linux-headers was a blocking package and it did not let me emerge system with it installed. I will re-install it and try again.
