Description barthek 2007-10-24 09:48:16 UTC
Hi,
I'm using old quota format file on my system with ext3 filesystems.
I added quota to boot runlevel and it seems the script has some
problems with updating quota.user files.

It spits out error such as:
"Cannot rename new quotafile /usr/quota.user.new to name /usr/quota.user: Operation not permitted"

At the next reboot it spits out errors about quota.user.new file already existing.
If I remove the .new files - the former error reappears.

Other than that quota is and has been working fine for the last couple of years :)
