I included the frame buffer splash into the initrd, since when I press F2 inside my X session it changes back to tty1, still showing the splash screen. If I change back an press F2 again, the same happens until I press F2 on tty1 too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot up Gentoo 2. log into X 3. press F2 Actual Results: changes back to tty1 showing the splash screen Expected Results: the F2 keypress should go into the current application's queue, without changint to tty1, tty should show a login screen at this time.
still doesn't works for me... :(
/me stabs bugzilla, why did this bug get resolved and my comment got lost? Anyway, I don't see what you really mean here, pressing F2 in X session does nothing useful here, you mean Ctrl+Alt+F2 or how can we reproduce your issue? Also, splashutils version and emerge --info please.
as I upgraded my splashutils the bug is gonna, so worksforme :) Thanks for supporting my bug :)
OK, FIXED then.
