liquidwar-5.6.4.ebuild"

The bug is happening because liquidwar tries to compile 32-bit assembly on amd64. The obvious solution is to not disable assembly.

By the way, the same error happens with liquidwar-5.6.3, and with any combination of compiler and binutils I've thrown at it (gcc-4.2.2 and 4.1.1; binutils-2.18, 2.17, and 2.16.1)

I meant, the obvious solution is to not enable asm...
Comment 4 Martin Wegner 2007-10-21 11:22:12 UTC
Fixed ebuild works here.

Comment 6 Albin Stjerna 2008-02-05 12:26:00 UTC
I'm also getting this on amd64, and the same with liquidwar-5.6.3. Why is it marked stable if it's not working?
Comment 7 Tristan Heaven (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-05 13:11:15 UTC
because it was working 9 months ago
Comment 8 Santiago M. Mola (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-05 16:26:35 UTC
Fixed on liquidwar-5.6.4, which is now stable on amd64.
