Description Chris Smith 2007-10-20 03:35:40 UTC
kde-3.5.8 updates I've tried to install fail with:

!!! Digest verification failed:
!!! /usr/portage/distfiles/kdebase-3.5.8.tar.bz2
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got: 24200172
!!! Expected: 2501632

Even an "ebuild /usr/portage/kde-base/kdebase/kdebase-3.5.8.ebuild unpack" fails with the same digest error.

Have deleted the file and downloaded it several times with same result. The actual source is:

Reproducible: Always

Works fine here... Perhaps, try re-downloading it now.

When did you sync? I just commited new Manifests to (hopefully :) fix this issue.

Synced right before submitting the bug.
Also synced just before this reply - same problem. Maybe the mirrors haven't picked up the new manifests yet.

My question was actually addressed to Andriy because it worked for him, what confused me because the fixes couldn't have hit him yet.
But according to bug 196491, they have hit the mirrors by now. Please emerge --sync again and re-open if it doesn't resolve this issue for you.
