Following 0.3.1 entering the tree, I'd like to ask to the arches to mark 0.2.6 stable, so that stable users can take use of the new features of the ebuild (debug useflag and desktop entry).

After startup I get:

00:02:55.122 Qsynth1: Failed to create the audio driver (jack). Cannot continue without it.
JACK tmpdir identified as [/var/run/jack]
fluidsynth: error: Jack server not running?
00:02:59.776 Qsynth1: Destroying synthesizer engine...
00:02:59.776 Qsynth1: Synthesizer engine terminated.

Do I need to run something prior to running qsynth or is the ebuild missing a dependency?

Check the documentation ( http://qsynth.sourceforge.net/qsynth-index.html ) if you're not going to use jack you need to pass the first time the -a alsa (or -a oss) option to switch it to ALSA output.
