Description James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2007-10-17 08:57:31 UTC
The comment above games_ut_unpack says "Unpack .uz(2) files for UT/UT2003/UT2004" but uz2unpack doesn't work with the original Unreal Tournament. I just tried it. The find statement within the function also searches for files named "*.uz*" but this should probably just be "*.uz2".

How does it not work? What errors did you get? We cannot fix it without more information.
Comment 2 James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2007-11-04 20:44:30 UTC
I mean that it's not *supposed* to work with .uz files from the original Unreal Tournament, only .uz2 files from UT2003/UT2004. For the record, I think the error was "Bogus .uz2 file."

The compressed .uz maps that come with UT GOTY have to be decompressed using ucc-bin. This has been done in the new unified UT ebuild in bug 134156.

OK. I fixed this in CVS.
