Description Andreas Wuest 2003-04-19 08:21:40 UTC
Hi,

mplayer plays the matrix reloaded quicktime movie fine, but without sound.
according to the mplayer mailling list the faac audio coded is required to get
sound for the trailer. See :

http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2003-April/032144.html

Adding faac coded to the mplayer dependencies should fix the problem
(at least according to the mailing list entry).
it would be nice if you could add the dependency, so we can watch the
trailer with sound :))))

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. download matrix reloaded trailer
2. play the trailer with mplayer and you will have no sound.
3.

Don't forget to make faad2 x86 instead of ~x86 when you decide to make the mplayer "stable".
