Rabbyt is a sprite library for Python with game development in mind. It has two goals: 1. Be fast, without sacrificing ease of use. 2. Be easy to use, without sacrificing speed.
I tried getting rabbyt with g-pypi, but the ebuild didn't run. I found a working ebuild for Version 0.7, though. http://neuromancer.openbsd.pl/~lazy_bum/gentoo/overlay/dev-python/rabbyt/ Works on amd64.

According to the message on upstream Web site, rabbyt development ended quite a while ago in favour of lib2d (which, incidentally, seems to have stalled as well). There is a port on GitHub (https://github.com/Ryex/Rabbyt) which uses Cython instead of Pyrex in order to provide support for Python3, then again even that hasn't seen any commit since August 2016. Is there anyone still interested in getting this into the tree? If not, I will close this bug as WONTFIX in 30 days.
