Attaching ebuild and patches for xen-sources-2.6.21 based on fedora patches. Basically, I have just updated main patch and removed duplicate patches (already in 2.6.21 or main xen patch). I have tested this kernel as xenU on x86_64 SMP platform. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

We already have 2.6.21 xen in http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/xen/browser/patches/trunk/2.6.21 I don't have time to look into your set right now, can you point out if and how it differs?
Sorry, I wasn't aware there is already 2.6.21 xen patch in overlays. I didn't find any ebuilds in xen layman. Seems that my set is missing: 20962_linux-2.6-xen-irq_vector-uninitialize.patch These patches are in my set and aren't in overlay (I guess these were added in recent 2.6.20-rX versions: 30037_amd64-zero-extend-32bit-ptrace-xen.patch 50007_disable-highpte.patch The main xen patch has same content.

The problem I see with both patchsets is that we'd have two additional kernels in the tree that need security support. We will leave 2.6.18 because it is the last upstream release. Moving away from 2.6.20 means we lose the Gentoo Hardened support. I'll put the additional .21 patches in the overlay and look at .22 sometime, but we have to find a way to maintain any of them efficiently. Micheal, what do you think about moving from .20 to a later version?
I've tried out your ebuild. Any reason ACPI is not included in this? Also, I'm trying to run xen with my chipset, an Intel Q35. The PCI IDS for my chipset agpgart are not included until 2.6.23 I believe. As such, I can't load X with this kernel or the 2.6.20 in portage. Any idea when xen-sources will be updated to a 2.6.23 kernel? There's a patch here, but it doesn't patch nicely... http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/6/5/391
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.xen.devel/51901 That contains a small patch to make it compile again.
Dropped version. Try .29 or .31 :)
