Description Paul Berens 2007-10-10 04:44:10 UTC
Basically how I can make it crash is to touch a file in any directory then select someone with an AIM account then send them the zero bytes long file, boom it crashes with a corrupted linked list error and, I did try to setup debugging mode on glibc, gtk+ and pidgin but didn't get anywhere with that, will try again later if its still needed?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. # touch /tmp/test.txt
2. Select a buddy with the AIM protocol
3. Select the /tmp/test.txt file
4. Send
5. Crashes!

Actual Results:
Stack dump/trace with the top message complaining about an corrupt linked list in glibc

Expected Results:
To get an error message about not being able to send a file of zero bytes, or sending it anyway

This really seems like an upstream bug, please report it at pidgin.im
