Are we talking about full dev status ? In any case, Ricardo please send the relevant quiz(zes) answers to recruiters@ when they're considered good enough by your mentor. Denis. Note. Joshua, right now Ricardo is at best in training (aka mentoring) period. Probation starts after the recruit has had his review OK-ed by recruiters and has been given full dev rights. For more info see http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/recruiters/mentor.xml#doc_chap2
I don't recall seeing kernel project contributions from Ricardo (but would certainly welcome them). I guess Kumba meant "help with MIPS kernels other MIPS areas"?

He's working on solving dyntick issues with the SGI O2 series atm (And just wrote a working early_printk implementation by using the MACE registers in the system, bypassing a known early_printk bug in bootmem_core).

For more info see > http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/recruiters/mentor.xml#doc_chap2 Yes, full dev status. The mips team's been a tad short of them lately (and we're a hair picky to begin with). I'm following my usual mentoring regimen that I've used for past recruits -- two weeks to study the dev manual and other associated dev material, then they can take a stab at the quizzes, and I keep myself available if they have questions regarding anything. Granted, it's been almost 4 years since my last recruit, so if there's more to be done, let me know!
We received your ebuild quiz, so I reset the due date. Denis.
EOM quiz received. The review is planned after feb 23 due to my personal schedule. Denis.

Ok stuff reviewed and bashed him around. Let's see if we can get some work done. What we did: LDAP -core bugzilla cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org IRC-cloak announcement #gentoo-dev channel access What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
Forums done.
Infra please retire Ricardo. He requested that in our mailing list. Ricardo, thank you for everything you've done for Gentoo and if you ever want to come back please re-open this bug
- metadata.xml files cleaned - herds.xml cleaned - Bugs reassigned
