Description Edward Muller 2007-10-09 16:56:49 UTC
An ebuild for dev-python/boto.

Boto is:

An integrated interface to current and future infrastructural services offered by Amazon Web Services. Currently, this includes:

Simple Storage Service (S3)
Simple Queue Service (SQS)
Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)
Mechanical Turk

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge boto

Actual Results:
there are no ebuilds to satisfy boto

Expected Results:
install boto

I've done this in preparation for a patch to the duplicity ebuild to enable s3 support in duplicity.

I don't know why this bug is still open as dev-python/boto-1.0a is in portage. I can also report that renaming the current ebuild in portage to boto-1.3a successfully installs the current version of boto.

bumped and closed - thanks for the note.
