Description Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2007-10-09 11:59:18 UTC
Today I run more than one time into this situation (see below). Shouldn't portage handle an HTML error in a different way than a broken file size ?

Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-09 17:01:59 UTC
wget handles this, not portage. Not to mention that the mirror is broken if it returns such junk.
Comment 2 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2007-10-10 11:21:53 UTC
What's about providing a simple black list via the rsync mechanism of portage to block such servers ?
Comment 3 Alex Howells (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-17 15:42:23 UTC
Pulled the HTTP entry for this mirror from mirrors.xml as it hasn't been working for a long time - at the moment Mirmon shows FTP as working and up-to-date.

Thanks for the report, please let us know if there's any further issues in future.
