Description Dominik Kozaczko 2007-10-04 21:16:22 UTC
May be GTK+2 related, but it doesn't exist in other apps. When selecting destination directory the last one used is displayed, but clicking OK does nothing. I have to go to parent dir and then click back to the desired dir and then "OK" works. In previous versions it worked good (or maybe earlier gtk, as I updated my system recently).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a torrent (eg. by clicking a link in Firefox)
2.Try to click OK as the directory selection window appears.

Actual Results:
Clicking OK does not work. I need to click to other dir and then re-enter desired destination to make OK button work.

Expected Results:
OK in dir selection window should work as it did in previous versions of Deluge.

gtk+-2.10.14, pygtk-2.10.6

Have you tried downgrading to those gtk+ versions?
Comment 2 Dominik Kozaczko 2007-11-03 07:10:38 UTC
Yes, I tried downgrading. sys-libs/gtk+-2.8.19 prevents most of my system from loading (Xfce has issues and deluge fails to load at all). I'll try upgrading to "masked" gtk+-2.12. I tried downgrading pygtk from 2.10 to 2.8 but it was blocked by pygobject, so I gave up.

I repeat: problems with saving happen only in deluge. Mozilla and other gtk+2 applications work flawlessly.

I found that this bug is pygtk related. Other apps such as nicotine+ also have same problems when selecting destination directory. Installing pygtk 2.12.0 fixed this bug.
