Description David Carlos Manuelda 2007-10-02 22:29:14 UTC
As an introduction, I have to say that I had before an amd64 gentoo, with kernel 2.6.22-r8 and it worked pretty good.

Now, on *same* hardware, I am getting much rx errors, and my transfer rate when I am downloading has lowered to ~20kb/s (before, I could download at ~700kb/s).

So, when I had amd64 it worked good in all situations, and changing to x86 is the only thing I've done (apart from formatting, install gentoo again, etc..) I submit this bug..

Is arch related really?

Reproducible: Always

It seems it is known to most x86 users.

that forum thread is a large collection of many issues from a long period of time, is there any part of it you were referring to specifically?

Please post "emerge --info" output to every bug that you file.

Please post dmesg output from this system. Which kernel version are you running there?

Please reopen if/when you can provide the info requested in comment #2.

The reason I didn't answer is because I installed iwlwifi driver and networkmanager and I cannot reproduce the problem now
