Description Christoph Brill (egore) (RESIGNED) 2007-10-01 08:09:07 UTC
Scmbug integrates software configuration management (SCM) with bug-tracking. It aims to solve the integration problem once and for all. It will glue any source code version control system (such as CVS/CVSNT, Subversion, Git) with any bug-tracking system (such as Bugzilla, Mantis, Request Tracker, Test Director).

Reproducible: Always

This way we don't depend on perl threads which are unnecessary on Linux anyway (will use fork then)
Comment 3 Christoph Brill (egore) (RESIGNED) 2007-10-01 08:10:51 UTC
I will bump the ebuild to 0.22 (which was released recently) as soon as I get the time for it. It might happen today.

This is now in the sunrise overlay. You can find it at:

Comment 5 Abraham Marín Pérez 2008-05-13 11:13:13 UTC
I've been trying this ebuild and found some changes that could improve it, essentially related to dependencies.

On one hand, I detected some packages that would be necessary to emerge scmbug with doc flag enabled; on the other hand, I found some other packages that weren´t needed at compilation time but must be present at running time in order to make it works.

Finally, there are packages that seem to/should be also a dependency, although I haven't been able to do the proper checks.

See attached file for details.

Additional info:
I tried SCMBug against CVS and Mantis.

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.

No longer using it as it was way to unstable and a pita to configure, closing.
