Thanks, the ebuild is now in cvs.  Please give it a try.  I had to change a few things, so please take a look and try to incorporate the changes into your future ebuilds.

I'm curious, have you had issues creating a symlink in /dev that disappear? Thats been one of my issues with devfs...
