There is no mention of the shortcut for --deep (-D) in the emerge manual page.  
For months now I've been wishing there was a -D shortcut for --deep and I just 
now discovered on accident that there is.  This would have saved me a lot of 
typing had it been in the man page ;)

PS: sorry if this is a dup... didn't see anything like it when I searched but there are a *LOT* of emerge bug reports ;)

its in cvs ... and yes its a dup, but i'm too lazy to find said bug # :)
