Yes, I know that 008 is a release candidate, but, unlike 007, it supports TrueType fonts. Thanks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Print dialogs that almost catch up to Windows/MacOS in functionality. Thanks!
ops .. sorry for the delay .. was quite busy and didn't see this (as some others too..) will have a closer look next week
Created attachment 13205 [details] xprint-008.ebuild What a coincidence. I was also just thinking about filing an ebuild inclusion. Note that this ebuild only compiles. The /etc/init.d, /etc/profile.d must be fixed, and the installing into /usr/X11R6 should also be looked at.
Anything newer on that thread ? I use xprint 008 on my debian & slack boxes at work for mozilla to print & everything works fine. I'd like to migrate them to gentoo & the lack of xprint is the only thing keeping back. I don't know (yet) how to write an ebuild to make this myself :( After the ebuild creation, a "mozxprint" USE flag should be added for the mozilla, mozilla-firebird spells to use it (--enable-xprint).
since i'm not the only printing team member now: reassign'in
can't find the deps of the package anywhere, any ideas?
finally in portage ;)
