Description Robert A. 2007-09-27 09:25:31 UTC
vnstat does compile for 32bit on sparc. so it can not interpret /proc/net/dev values if more then 4gb were transferred.

solution #1 (preferred):
run make 64bit from the ebuild

solution #2:
wait for vnstat-1.5 which will have a atomatic 32bit/64bit counters detection

netmon this is your ebuild
Comment 2 Teemu Toivola 2007-12-05 17:13:47 UTC
Looks like I was faster than netmon this time since vnstat-1.5 is now available and contains that already mentioned automatic 32bit/64bit counter detection along with some other useful features. :)

Moving to netmon, when 1.5 is added to the tree, and you still want a ~sparc keyword, please open a new bug.

errr, forget about the keyword thing. Netmon please bump.
Comment 5 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-26 17:44:23 UTC
vnstat-1.5 is in portage.

sparc, please, test and keyword.
Comment 6 Robert A. 2007-12-26 19:38:08 UTC
works for me.
Comment 7 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-27 10:33:33 UTC
It already has a sparc keyword :)
