Attached is astime-2.8.tar.bz2 containing an astime-2.8 ebuild, a patch so     
                
that it installs and the digest. astime is a Afterstep applet, it was          
                  
requested at news://alt.os.linux.gentoo.

I suggest x11-plugins/ as that's where other afterstep applets are.

I want a changelog for this, with a rationale on the patch in it as well as the creators contact information, credit where credit is due.

built astime links libjpeg, marking this invalid due to dependencies.  we have a build that uses things without stating it, since then we cannot guarantee that a package is the same between builds.



reopen this if you wish to submit a fixed ebuild.

Attached below is a fixed ebuild with optional libjpeg support, a digest and a Changelog.  The patch is removed, it was there to fix 'make install' which is not used anymore.  

Since I still am the creator I'm listed in the ChangeLog.

Fixed, in portage. 

some changes done to the build, mainly the jpeg? (...) lacked " " between ( and expression inside )
