When I open the attached document and start to present it in full screen mode, X crashes (see attached Xorg.0.log) in the nvidia driver. This does not happen when using the "nv" driver, but then images do not show in full screen mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start X 2.run openoffice 2.3 with document 3.X crashes at the last slide in full screen presentation mode Actual Results: X is restarted by xdm Expected Results: X should not crash

Contact NVIDIA as these are binary drivers, we can not resolve any bugs with them. Use nvidia-bug-report.sh, also you can use their forums to communicate with them. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=14
It turns out, that this misbehaviour is neither driver specific nor openoffice version specific: Test cases are: openoffice 2.2 and 2.3 xorg-server 1.3 with "nvidia" driver xorg-server 1.4-r1 with "nvidia", "ati", "nv" drivers Results: xorg-server 1.3: both openoffice 2.2 and 2.3 work correctly in full-screen mode xorg-server 1.4: openoffice 2.3 and "nvidia" driver: some images seem to be displayed off-screen, crash as described above openoffice 2.3 and "nv"/"ati" drivers: some images seem to be displayed off-screen openoffice 2.2 and any tested driver: some images seem to be displayed off-screen In short, xorg-server 1.3 seems to not have this problem, while xorg-server 1.4 or any library used has, no matter what driver is used.
Newer pixman and xorg-server don't seem to exhibit this behavior anymore. If you can still reproduce, please don't hesitate to reopen this bug. Thanks
