Just want to comment:
That's 2 digest verification problems this morning of which this is one of them. These are probably the most annoying issues mainly because they seem the most preventable. It can't be that hard to put a system or procedure in place that would absolutely prevent this issue and the corresponding bandwidth and time wasted resolving it (from both the developers and users viewpoint). The digest should be verified before the ebuild can be accepted by the tree. Then only a bad file or download can be the cause, never an oversight.

Just committed the fixed manifest. I'll close the bug once I verify it is correct on the mirrors
Comment 3 Joe Peterson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-26 15:53:02 UTC
This is strange, since the Manifest was generated after genlop-0.30.8.tar.gz appeared in distfiles. However:

I do know that there were two subsequent versions of the tarball placed in distfiles-local, separated by some time. Perhaps these trickled into distfiles one at a time, and when I generated the Manifest for checkin, the first one had been mirrored, but the second one appeared later...

Looking back, I should have checked the tarball to make sure it was the final one; I had assumed the mirroring to distfiles would pick up whatever was latest.
