New version 2.1pre30 has been released by developers. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 131905 [details, diff] links-2.1_pre30.ebuild Ebuild for new version 2.1_pre30. It removes support for javascript (because of removal be upstream) and adds optinal IUSE dependency on zlib and bzip2. This ebuild requires adjusted mirror://gentoo/${PN}-2.1pre30-utf8.diff.bz2 patch. Javascript removal solves bug #137763. Also bug #187122 should be closed (reporter got wrong version number).

A couple of notes... virtual/libc + sys-devel/gcc -> should be removed from (R)DEPEND, useless deps sys-devel/automake + sys-devel/autoconf - useless dependencies without versions, plus the ebuild should patch configure.in, not configure, inherit autotools and run eautoreconf
