I've just tried to install Sauerbraten and it fails the checksum test. It works neither with Paludis nor with plain Portage. I have tested it with the file downloaded from the Portage mirror and with the file offered by SF.net Sauerbraten project. A guy in #gentoo.de told me the reason for all of this are the Sauerbraten developers who released 2 different file version under the same file name. As I am no expert in these questions I cannot tell whether this is the simple truth. You're free to decide. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Be sure that there is no old Sauerbraten distfile in your distfiles directory. 2. Tell Paludis or Portage to install Sauerbraten 2007-08-19 3. Stand by while the program is downloading the new file and watch it afterwards calculating the checksums 4. Find the test failed Actual Results: Sauerbraten cannot be installed! Expected Results: Portage/Paludis finding the right distfile and installing Sauerbraten.
games-fps/sauerbraten-2007.08.29 should be ok.
