% paludis -q grandr
* x11-apps/grandr
    gentoo:            0.1* {:0}
    Homepage:          http://xorg.freedesktop.org/
    Description: GTK+-based tool to configure the X output using the RandR 1.2 extension
    License:           ( MIT )
    Use flags:         -debug

The homepage comes from the xorg eclass iirc

*  x11-apps/grandr
      Latest version available: 0.1
      Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ]
      Size of files: 109 kB
      Homepage:      http://xorg.freedesktop.org/
      Description: GTK+-based tool to configure the X output using the RandR 1.2 extension
      License:       MIT

It comes from the eclass, specifically x-modular.eclass, which is perfectly valid and proper since the homepage for all xorg components is the same.

Marking invalid.

Yes? But the "homepage" has nothing to do with the grandr... it even does not seem to "know" about it's existence...
