I liked to look file list of "torrent" with some hundreds of files, so I loaded "info widget" plugin and pressed "file button" ... new "File" window displayed under main ktorrent window, but vertical size of the window is enooooooooooormous - it has hundreds of lines under bottom corner (so unvisible/useless) and vertical scroll bar is missing completely (probably that's the reason why it's so big) Reproducible: Always
I have to correct, that "info widget" plugin is not opening new window, it just take bottom part of main window and resizes it terribly
Upstream bug. They know about it but haven't fixed it yet. Workaround: 1. Quit ktorrent. 2. Edit ~/.kde/share/config/ktorrentrc 3. Delete the KFileDialog section. 4. Restart ktorrent and it should work again.
Deletion of KFileDialog section doesn't help, but your answer helped anyway ... after upgrade to this version (from ktorrent-2.1.4) I removed ktorrentrc file, because ktorrent failed to start (see bug 192147). Until now I didn't check the content of rc file (just because I didn't expect a problem here), but now I found it in "WindowStatus" section... Item "Height" was set to much greater number as it should be. Correction to proper vertical pixel resolution helped. Now it's a question if both corrections are needed or not, but this bug should be solved in ktorrent sources anyway.
