The postfixadmin-2.1.0-r2 package in webaaps-experimental overlay still points to the older package location of net-mail, instead of www-apps like the one in portage. The message after updatating both portage and webapps-experimental as of Sept 14, 2007 is: # emerge postfixadmin -pv These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies | !!! The short ebuild name "postfixadmin" is ambiguous. Please specify !!! one of the following fully-qualified ebuild names instead: net-mail/postfixadmin www-apps/postfixadmin Got this issue after updating webapps-experimetal overlay due to a message that my postfixadmin package needs a dependency of apache with it cannot be found, apparently relocated to a new place in the portage tree too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have an old webapps-experimetal snapshot (before the www-apps changes) 2. Try to update the system. 3. Update webapps-experimental 4. Try to update again Actual Results: emerge postfixadmin -pv These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies | !!! The short ebuild name "postfixadmin" is ambiguous. Please specify !!! one of the following fully-qualified ebuild names instead: net-mail/postfixadmin www-apps/postfixadmin
Moved to net-mail, unmerge the old one. There's no way to pkgmove stuff in overlays.
