Hi! Please find attached ipac_ng-1.22.tar.gz containing ipac_ng-1.22.ebuild the original name is ipac-ng i changed it to ipac_ng because of portage. ipac-ng is an ip accounting utility i used for years on debian, but on my gentoo servers it is still missing. please note 1.22 is an old version, but from 1.23 on there are troubles is you are not using a sql database and this is not what i like. i use the package as a small scale accounting for my servers at a server housing center and at home (and not to monitor huge subnets). i suggest net-analysers/ipac_ng Philipp Lopaur Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 10587 [details] ipac_ng-1.22.ebuild and config files for ipac-ng
in fact ipac_ng violates the naming policy (as do the 200 odd other ebuilds currently in portage which contain the "_" character). The ones in portage will be fixed in the coming weeks, but if you could rename this, that would be better. Also, no need to attach a targz, if it's just an ebuild.
Created attachment 10594 [details] ipacng-1.22.tar.gz (renamed) ebuild config files sysvinit and digest renamed ipac_ng to ipacng i hope this is sufficent, please test the package and give me feedback.
Created attachment 10595 [details] ipac-ng-1.22.ebuild (renamed again) config files sysvinit and ebuild for ipac-ng please forget previous versions, this is the final renamed package. this should follow naming guidelines and matches the original name. i renamed the package because i had some typing errors... now everything should be fine.
Created attachment 10826 [details] all files for ipac-ng-1.22 (ebuild cron init.d config) fixed a small bug, you loose data of the last hour when you reboot, fixed now. /etc/init.d/ipac-ng stop now saves the data btw im familiar with cvs, what is needed to gain cvs access so i could update my package myself? please test package and give me feedback, thanks! fips
