Samba 3.0.25 introduces the new '--with-dnsupdate' configuration flag that enables samba to update/create a dns record for the server in Active Directory. Can you please add a use flag for this?

Not adding a use flag for something that doesn't compile. Feel free to reopen once you've sorted out Bug 192207 upstream.
