Description niogic 2007-09-07 18:48:40 UTC
I'd like to see the br2684 module and br2684ctl program in the next media release. They don't need much space, and are needed for some network configurations that you can not change (only the ISP could).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have a contract with an ISP that requires Bridged IP over ATM (RFC1483).
Actual Results:
I could not establish a data link to the internet.

Expected Results:
Let me configure the br2864 bridge.

Which kernel option enables the module and which ebuild pulls in the userland side?
Comment 2 niogic 2007-10-18 17:54:47 UTC
KERNEL MODULE:
CONFIG_ATM=m
CONFIG_ATM_BR2684=m

FRONTEND:
net-misc/br2684ctl

OK. This is in the specs/configs for 2007.1's release.

This should be fixed in 2008.0
