I'm rearranging things ATM to check whether this is disk-space related. Currently I have 1.9GB free in portage tmpdir, I am increasing this to 4.1GB. I'll report back, but this might take some time!
don't worry, i can confirm its space related...and 4.1 gigs ain't going to be enough either...i can't pinpoint exactly how much is needed (well i could but i haven't), but its a LOT, probably near 8 gigs...
That failed, but I'm trying again with blackdown 1.3.1 instead of 1.4.1. BTW I can find more space if this doesn't work.
like i said, we're talkin 8 gigs here...
uhm, that's interesting, but I build oo-1.0.3 with 3 gigs free (after source download, before unpack), and portage had to pack a 60-meg setup binary (I did emerge -B)
Well, it worked in the end, but on a disk with 47GB free ;)
