1. Start firefox-2.0.0.6 "normal": firefox starts fast and is usable directly after starting this application
2. Restore session: firefox is usable after about 10sec.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start firefox normal: usable directly
2.Open firefox, restart computer without closing firefox.
3.login into gnome/kde: combo box appears: "start firefox/restore session"

Actual Results:  
Firefox is usable after some time, if firefox is not closed before shutdown.

Expected Results:  
Fast start of firefox, even the firefox is not closed before shutdown/restart.

OK, maybe you could clarify why is this a Gentoo bug? It doesn't happen with mozilla-firefox-bin, or some other special reason?

I can´t answer the question, why this should be a Gentoo bug.
In my opinion, the behaviour of Firefox in this case is strange and could be improved.

If you want FF improved, that's what https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Firefox&format=guided; not Gentoo bugzilla. Sorry.
