Description Ryan 2007-09-04 16:12:24 UTC
It seems Openfire has been upgraded to it in their package version, I think now that 1.6 is stable on Gentoo, the default config should be changed also.

The URL in the bug has the bug where they changed it, it was done in release 3.3.0

Reproducible: Always

For me it is fine that it uses java 1.5 or 1.6, but last call is for the java herd.
Comment 2 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-07 09:38:01 UTC
Well I don't really understand what this is about. OpenFire should use the configure system/user vm if that is new enough to run it.

Which is does, the referenced bug talks about java 1.6 helping the windows exe, it isn't even about *nix.

Closing as invalid.
