Description Eric Brown 2007-09-01 01:02:35 UTC
I recently had to use the linux-mod eclass to make a kernel module ebuild. The first problem I ran into was the description for use of the MODULE_NAMES variable, which is essential to the use of this eclass.

This patch adds some helpful comments to that file.

I didn't remove any of the comments already in the file, but it's possible that they would not be needed after applying this patch.

Reproducible: Always

The kernel-misc herd does.. Unfortunately we are low on numbers and busy concentrating on core kernel bugs.

Sorry for being slow, I'll try and do a sweep over the kernel-misc bugs next week sometime.
