Hi,
binchunker converts a CD image in a .bin or .raw / .cue format to a set of .iso
and .cdr tracks. afaik, only cdrdao can burn .bin/.cue cd images to CDs. Another
useful little tool.
 I think app-cdr is appropriate though it can be used w/out a CD burner (to
convert to .iso and mount it using the loop device).

This is already included in portage under app-cdr.  This bug should be closed.

Ilian: since you put in some work in creating the new ebuild, please have a look
at the existing ebuild for bchunk, and let us know if you think that it can be
improved in any way.  If so, then reopen this bug with a patch.

The bchunk ebuild in the portage tree was submitted by Per Wigren. Bug 2499
should have been marked as a duplicate of this. Anyway, the main difference is
that I use make while Wigren just compiles it with gcc (the source consists of
one file). That shouldn't be a problem though, so I'll leave the current bug status.
