I found out on another box that Yammi couldn't handle "-fomit-frame-pointer". Then it segfaults on settings dialog. Added some lines to filter the flag "-fomit-frame-pointer" and everything worked like I charm again.

Sorry for the broken english last night. I was a bit tired and my english isn't very good then ;). I hope this second attempt is better. When you build yammi with the -fomit-frame-pointer, it segfaults when trying to chance to settings. When I removed -fomit-frame-pointer everything works fine again. I think the cflag is the culprut and I changed the ebuild to filter that cflag. The new commited ebuild (with the braindead name, sorry!) should solve this problem.
What arch are you on? Without the flag filtering I'm not seeing any issues with the settings dialog on pentium 3 or 4.
I'm on a Pentium 2. I've tested again and yammi still segfaults in the settings dialog.
It's commited, for now it's only filtering the flags on pentium2. Let me know if there are any issues. Thanks for the submission!
