Boot freezes  at "--- Beginning Storage Autodetection" " --- Scanning for
aic7xxx..."

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Pop in the gentoo 1.4rc3 cd and boot off of it. Choose all defaults (Press enter
on grub boot selection)
Actual Results:  
Freezes on Storage Auto Detection

Expected Results:  
Detected the aic7896, not frozen, given me a root prompt.

L440GX0+ Intel Server Board
512MB Registered PC100 ECC SCRAM
AIC7896 Built-in Chip, Bios v2.57S2B3

This bug no longer affects me. Everything was auto detected correctly.
