+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #148024 +++ Plone 3.0 released upstream a few days ago
Can we just copy over the old ebuild, or is there anything modified that will not make it work?
Also, plone 3.0 must be installed with zope 2.10.X not 3.3.1. This is a bug.
No you can't rename the plone package, they seemed to have change the packaging and it doesn't work right with zprod-manager. I am working on the changes, but Programs are but into a Program subdir, which was easy to fix in zprod-manager, and now there is also a lib folder that needs to get copied across, and keep them from overwriting ones from another In plones case, there are 5 main libraries include archetypes, five kss, plone and wicked. ** NOTE ** I haven't used plone before so I am not sure how they were down before.
forgot to mention, the hotfix has gone away 2.10.x is required, and there are a few other dependencies. I'll post the build when I get a chance.
The new 2.5.3 ebuild now makes it easier to be copied. You just need to find the MY_P , I used ${P/p/P}, change the SLOT var, and then edit the zprod_list as follows -CacheFu -CMFSetup -PloneErrorReporting +AdvancedQuery +CMFDiffTool +CMFEditions +CMFTestCase +NuPlone +ZopeVersionControl The only outstanding issue is how zprod-manager manages the libs folder.

Any reason to have "=net-zope/zope-2.10*" on ebuild ? why not use zope >3.3?
plone 3 works with zope2.10 but not with zope3. More information: http://plone.org/products/getpaid/documentation/faq/what-are-the-dependencies-for-the-product/?searchterm=zope%202.10 http://plone.org/documentation/faq/zope-3-and-plone/?searchterm=zope%202.10
Version 3.1.1 added to portage. Thanks
