the file was not corrupt and downloaded from the suggested location, directly from the developer website. The error is reproducible.

doing:
# ebuild nmrpipe-2.5.2006.184.15.37.ebuild digest
seems to fix the problem, but I'm still testing whether the program runs as expected.

1. download the files needed (fetch-restriction)
2. emerge nmrpipe
3.

Actual Results:
