I am beginning my first steps to help development of koffice, downloaded from CVS, configured, and it said wv2, a word filter, was not installed. It is not a requirement per se, but it is desirable to have word compatibility. emerge -s (even with ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86") says there is an ebuild for 0.0.8, but configure asked for 0.0.9. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download from CVS 2.make -f Makefile.cvs 3.configure 4. read wrning about wv2
Hmm, wv2 0.0.9 requires libgsf >= 1.7.2, which currently needs ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~X86", and is listed as a gnome dependency... wv2 configure rn succesfully after I emerged libgsf NOTE: I didnt emerge wv2, I dled the 0.0.9 tarball to fit the configure requirement.
