Description garyyuen 2007-08-26 22:33:51 UTC
VMware Tools provides drag and drop between host and Linux guest as well as screen resizing and full screen mode.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. With VMware Tools installed (included with VMware fusion), drag a file from host os to Gentoo window in VMware.
2. Resize VMware window or go to full screen mode.
3. copy and paste between vmware and host os x system.
Actual Results:
neither of these actions work.

Expected Results:
drag and drop and copy and paste should work between host and guest. Screen resizing as well as full screen mode should work.

I don't see neither vmware tools, not vmware-workstation 1.0 anywhere in the tree; there's no vmware-workstation-1.0 in vmware overlay either, not to mention that the versions that actually are there are not keyworded for x86-macos at all. Plus there's nothing we could fix about binary-only stuff, you need to complain upstream.
